There is an increasing awareness that veterinary dentistry is an important, yet still underdeveloped area of veterinary practice. In Britain, this need was recognised and the BVDA was formed in 1988.
The BVDA has strong links with other veterinary dental societies in Europe, Australia, Canada and the USA. Members may receive the Journal of Veterinary Dentistry published quarterly if required. Members are also kept informed of what is going on by periodical news-letters from our Journal Editor as well as receiving publications of the BVDA’s own journal.
Membership of the BVDA keeps you in touch with colleagues who have similar interests. It also helps to keep you up to date with the ever changing aspects of veterinary dentistry. All members are eligble for discounted BVDA CPD courses, and the Scientific Day Meeting.
