BVDA Membership
There is increasing recognition that veterinary dentistry is an essential, yet still developing, area of veterinary practice. Since its formation in 1988, the British Veterinary Dental Association has worked to promote education, collaboration, and higher clinical standards in veterinary dentistry.
By joining the BVDA, you become part of a supportive professional community with access to high-quality education, practical resources, and peer support.

A subscription to the Journal of Veterinary Dentistry (JVD) is not included in standard membership fees unless explicitly stated. Members may choose to add a Journal subscription at the prevailing annual rate.
Membership runs from 1 January to 31 December of each year. Members joining between October and December will also have their membership applied to the following calendar year.
Membership Fees
- Individual full membership: £45
- Young graduate membership: £35
- Associate membership: £45
- Veterinary Student / OCN Course Participants: FREE
- Practice membership: £65, plus a compulsory subscription to the Journal of Veterinary Dentistryat the prevailing annual rate (currently £65). It provides discount for a vet and a nurse on a scientific day.
For all other membership categories, the Journal of Veterinary Dentistry is optional and may be added at an additional cost of £65 per year, separate from the membership fee.
